I had stayed at this hotel for 8 months during COVID, so I expected some basic courtesy when I returned. Instead, after an 18-hour international trip, I was turned away and had to find somewhere else to stay on my own. There was no apology, no effort to sort it out in person, and no attempt to accommodate me. The cold reception and mishandling of a confirmed booking left a very negative impression, especially for international travelers who depend on clear communication and reliable reservations. About a month before my trip, I booked directly through the hotel's official website and received confirmation. I had already paid in full for six days. At check-in, reception immediately said they didn't accept online bookings. They didn't check my name or reservation details, or even try to look in the system. I showed my confirmation and proof of payment, but they just told me to call. The number they gave me reached their own administration office, which already knew about my reservation. They agreed to refund me, but said it would take around 20 days. Having that significant amount of money held for so long after a confirmed booking was denied was extremely inconvenient and concerning.

What stood out most was how kind and considerate the staff were with my elderly parents. Their understanding and extra accommodation of my parents' needs meant a lot. The hotel has historic charm, and its location makes it easy to see many of Lahore's historical sights. Our rooms were clean and very spacious, and breakfast had a wide range of items. There were some drawbacks. The safe was at an unusual height, making it troublesome for a slightly shorter person to use. There were no clocks or irons in the rooms. Irons were available on request, but I had to wait an inordinate amount of time for one. I expected more modern amenities from a 5* hotel, and the actual gym was nowhere near what its website picture and description suggested. Still, the kindness shown to my parents said a lot about the hotel's service. It was my first time in Pakistan, and I was travelling with my family, including my elderly parents.

The hi-tea was good and reasonably priced, and the peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere made it more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Miss Lubna, who was accommodating. One thing that confused us and several other guests was that only appetizer plates were available. The plates were too small to enjoy the full hi-tea spread comfortably, so dinner plates should be provided too.

I came from South Africa and spent 3 weeks at Flatties Hotel during my visit to Pakistan last month. The place was beautiful and clean, with a great location, and the staff really made my trip wonderful. A special thanks to the breakfast team, especially my bestie Sanam, who took such good care of me. What a pleasure. I'll definitely be back soon In Sha Allah 😍🙏

The rooms were spacious and well maintained, and the food had a delicious selection of dishes. Faletti’s Hotel also has a warm, sophisticated atmosphere and combines classic charm with modern comfort. Its rich heritage comes through in the elegant setting. The professional, welcoming staff were attentive and helped make the stay smooth and pleasant. A wonderful hospitality experience for leisure or business travelers.
