Hotel Days INN

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I chose Hotel Day Inn, Lahore because it was 3 mins from my business place. I booked through Booking.com, which confirmed a room at Hotel Day Inn, Shaukat Khanum, Lahore for Rs. 2,262, payable upon arrival. The number on the app didn't work, so I searched online and eventually reached Hamza Gul. He suddenly quoted Rs. 2,500, or Rs. 3,200 with AC, and demanded Rs. 1,000 in advance even though the app said “pay at property.” He also claimed Booking.com reservations become invalid after 6 p.m., which made no sense since I booked after 10 p.m. and the app showed it as confirmed. Later, the property marked the reservation “cancelled” even though I stayed there. It seems this may have been done deliberately, possibly to avoid platform policies or commission. On arrival, the room was unclean, the washroom smelled terrible, and it was obvious someone had used it before me. I stayed from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and politely asked for one extra hour, offering to pay. But at 11:00 a.m., one hour before checkout, they called to say they were entering my room and moving my luggage elsewhere because they wanted to give the room to someone else. I was shocked and furious. I told them not to touch anything and rushed back. I gathered my belongings and checked out at 11:40 a.m., still within the time I'd paid for. Trying to enter without permission and move my things without consent was a serious invasion of privacy and deeply disrespectful, completely unprofessional behavior. In short, there was misleading pricing and a forced advance payment, a booking shown as cancelled despite my stay, a dirty used room, and an attempt to enter and move my belongings before checkout. I strongly warn others against booking Hotel Day Inn, Lahore. There are much more professional, honest, and respectful places to stay.

There isn't even a minus rating available, or I'd happily give one. The hotel's ambiance was pathetic, and the staff were arrogant and rude. They didn't provide any heating either. The experience was too awful for words. I wouldn't recommend Hotel days Inn to my enemies.

The room was hot because they never switched on the generator, and no assistant was provided. I had booked the hotel for my parent and even visited first to check what they would offer. After my parent spent one night there, I moved them to another hotel, though I had already paid in full. The service is bad. I would not recommend it.

The towels and beds were very dirty, the toilet had not been cleaned, and staff spoke to customers poorly. During our three-day trip, they asked for extra money at checkout. I had already explained through booking.com that I would reserve another room once my family arrived, and until then I did not need one. When they came, staff kept knocking and making excuses that they needed this or that. It didn't feel like a family hotel, so I moved my family elsewhere. They still didn't return my money, and the disrespect nearly turned into a fight. Worst experience I've had in a hotel.
