Bhurban Apartments Murree

The building is a private three-story setup with parking, in a quiet area among family homes. Mr. Fiaz, the only worker there, was honest, helpful, well-mannered, and a thorough gentleman. Beyond that, the stay was awful. Power kept failing, the generator didn’t work, and there was no backup arrangement. Cleanliness was zero, with mosquitoes in the rooms and bathrooms. The bathrooms were unhealthy and had old, badly worn materials. The sheets were old and the blankets smelled. Rent was 6 to 7 thousand per day, with no breakfast or other arrangements. There was no room heater, microwave, coffee machine, or even courtesy water. The owner’s family lives upstairs with children, and there was a lot of noise. A notice hanging in the trees says your car is parked at your own risk. Not recommended for decent families.

It was a good stay, though the place is about 10km from Main Murree mall road.

The lawn was neat and clean, with chairs, and there was good parking. Hot water was available, but the shower pressure was so low that we had to use a bucket. Wi-Fi only worked when the electricity was on. The stairs have no railing and felt extremely unsafe, especially with kids. Wind often blew strongly, making the doors bang so loudly it was hard to sleep. The bed had no sheet, and the pillows were dirty. The cupboard looked more like a storage area, with a chandelier and water bucket kept inside. There was a generator, but no backup during blackouts. If you only need a quick break and no other service, it might do. Otherwise, choose a hotel with basic amenities. I hope they install a railing and focus on safety and customer satisfaction to improve revenue. The pictures were taken early in the morning, around 5am.

The view was the best part, and the staff were cooperative and helpful in many ways, hospitality about 8/10. Some rooms were well maintained, but the rest weren’t good. It’s an average place for a night, with reasonable rates around 5,000, though I’d visit before booking. You need to arrange food yourself or give cash to the helper. There was a heater and hot water. Overall, I’d rate it 5/10.
