Grand Shafaat Hotel Nathiagali

We were there for only 30 minutes, but they charged us for everything, from water to the washroom to the tables. The staff were rude and ill-mannered, especially with my family, and the receptionist wasn’t polite either. They lied that our food was ready, even though they hadn’t turned on the stove. The food was tasteless, the washrooms were dirty, and they overcharged us. It was a terrible restaurant to visit, better to stay hungry than spend thousands there.

I booked an ordinary room for one night on a family trip, and it had no facilities. They charged 5000, but the bathroom was dirty, the towel was small and dirty, and there were mosquitoes in the room. There was no parking either. Food and breakfast cost more than at a five-star hotel. There are much better hotels nearby for half the rates this place charges. Be careful, and don’t choose this hotel.

The fries I ordered were alright, but the chai wasn’t anything special. Could be a decent place to stop for a rest before heading downhill for a hike.

Be careful, and don’t choose this hotel.
