The rooftop restaurant is the main reason to visit. The views across the Murree hills and surrounding nature are breathtaking, and it’s a solid spot for a meal with a beautiful backdrop. The stay was let down by the facilities and service. The bathrooms weren’t in satisfactory condition, especially because of poor drainage. The heaters were too small for the rooms, so staying warm in the cold was difficult. Staff came across as unprofessional and seemed greedy, often putting tips ahead of genuine hospitality. I’d recommend coming for a rooftop meal and the view, but staying elsewhere if hygiene, warmth, and professional service matter to you.

The view from the top floor is really good, but the rooms were unhygienic and poorly maintained. There was construction nearby, and it was so noisy that we couldn’t sleep. This is a copy of Movenpick hotel, misleading people by copying the brand name.

The room was average and smelled bad, with poor amenities and no heater. The surroundings were much too noisy. Below average for a 3-star rating.

The hotel has great mountain views and is only a two-minute walk from the tourist hotspots. The roads are mostly clean, and the urchin children sell gum instead of begging. The bathroom was large, with hot water at all hours. They prepared vegetarian food for the 40 people in my group and accommodated our Sabbath-keeping needs. There were a couple of problems. The door latch had some rotten wood, and you have to walk a long way to get away from people. On Saturday night, someone smoking in a nearby room sent smoke into ours through the bathroom vent, though that happened just once.
