The lawn, open areas, and quiet surroundings worked well for our family, with room for children and adults to walk around and relax. The property and its setting are beautiful, and the rooms and fresh air made for a pleasant atmosphere. The food had good variety and was better than I expected, though it's not on the level of a specialty restaurant. Room service was the best part: the staff were helpful and responsive, and Shahid was especially hospitable and polite. Our biggest problem was the booking. There were so many room categories that the reservation process was confusing. I chose a Valley View with Balcony and confirmed that several times on WhatsApp before arriving. We had booked two rooms, but one didn't match what we were promised. Its window faced the opposite dead-end side, with no proper view, which was a major disappointment since the view was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. When I asked the front desk to honor the commitment, the response was defensive, dismissive, and unprofessional instead of helpful. Get the room details confirmed in writing. The restaurant was untidy, service was very slow, and it didn't feel worth the price. Complimentary breakfast was particularly disappointing, with limited choices, slow responses, and too few staff to handle basic requests. The property has a lot of potential for families and nature lovers, but the booking process and front desk treatment need serious improvement. Guests lose trust when confirmed arrangements aren't honored and complaints are handled this way.

We'd confirmed the room prices by phone and through Pine Park's WhatsApp catalog before we arrived. On the day we showed up, though, they raised the prices by 25%, saying the new rate applied because we hadn't booked in advance. That condition hadn't been mentioned earlier, and the staff were extremely unprofessional. I'd suggest staying in Naran or Hunza/Sost instead, where you can find better views and professional, courteous staff. Spruce Resort in Shogran offers better service and rooms for the same budget.

Visited on 3rd June 2026. The room was filthy: dirty, stinky sheets and blankets, torn and extremely dirty curtains, and no soap or towel in the bathroom. The restaurant was very expensive, though the food tasted good. All in all, a waste of money. There are much better options in shogran for 24 thousands per night.

Very inappropriate behavior from the person at reception. Before we arrived, they quoted 20k for their cottage over the phone. When we went to book, they changed their story and said it was 25k, then claimed we hadn't asked for the 20k price. Fraud! Stay away, there are better, more budget-friendly hotels just a five-minute walk away.

We left mainly because there was no heating when we arrived, even though we'd been promised it from 8 PM to 1 PM. Staff blamed electricity issues. The heating only came on after we'd decided to leave, and even then it wasn't enough to warm the room. Our kids were cold. The rooms were dusty and messy, with spider webs in the rooms and washrooms. The washrooms were broken, dirty, poorly maintained, had worms, and had blocked drainage. The food was below average and not tasty; we couldn't finish half of what we'd ordered. It cost a lot, and took more than two hours for the full order to arrive. There was no WiFi, despite it being advertised. Staff were unfriendly and uncooperative, with poor customer service skills. A very unpleasant stay, and not suitable for families.
