The chicken in the pizza roll I bought from Sangum Bakers today smelled bad, and it didn’t taste good either. It seemed old and not fresh. Very disappointing.

That restaurant view really made lunch special. At Sangam Hotel Muzaffarabad, the traditional food was especially tasty, fresh, and cooked well. The staff welcomed us warmly and brought everything quickly. A lovely peaceful place for lunch, and I’d happily return.

The view is great and the rooms are okay, but I was shocked by how the staff handled my room. I went to pir chinasi in the morning and returned at 11, before the 12pm checkout. They had used a master key, moved my luggage into another room, and were preparing to show mine to another guest. They assumed I’d left, even though checkout time hadn’t passed. Pathetic.

The river view from the rooms is lovely, especially where Neelam and river Jhelum meet. The rooms are good too. The lobby and reception area are tiny, though, with seating for only about three people.

I got a three-bed room with air-conditioning and an attached bath for 3500, which seemed reasonable. The furniture and bedsheets were nice, and the place looked good overall. You can see the Neelam river across the road. I didn’t try the food, though they do have an attached restaurant, so I can’t comment on its taste. A nice place for a night.
