Green Hilton Hotel Shangla

The location is great and the building is good, but the service and staff were terrible. On a cold night in January, I paid extra for a heater, and they supplied firewood for only an hour. I had to make a fire myself around midnight. Luckily, I'd brought wood in my car, so the infants and kids had some warmth. There was no staff to be found. I won't stay again unless I hear the staff have changed.

The food was exceptionally bad, and the rooms were just okay. For the service, the price was much too high.

The night sky looked spectacular, which was the best thing about the hotel. The bedding and rooms were dirty, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and nothing on the menu was available, not even tea. The staff seemed confused and didn't even know the hot water came from the right-side tap. 🤷‍♂️

The location is the one good thing here. The manager was cold, the service was poor, and the prices were completely unreasonable. My room was filthy, with dead insects and cobwebs almost everywhere, as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bathroom exhaust opened into the gallery, where you could hear customers walking around, making me wonder who designed it. For such a high price, this is one of the worst places you could stay.
