The first night was awful, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. In our first room, the mattress was only partly covered, only half the window had curtains, and artificial perfume was being used to hide a bad smell in both the bedroom and bathroom. We asked the tenant or reception to do something, but she never opened her door, so we had to ask Booking for help. They moved us after that first bad night. The second room was better, but the bathroom still smelled like pipe odor or mold. It improved with the bathroom door shut and our window wide open. The rooms have no sound insulation, so other guests are noisy. Bring earplugs. Breakfast was another problem. You can't go before 8, even if the food, like meat and eggs, has already been sitting out for about an hour. I arrived 15 minutes before 8 with a full plate in my hands, and the woman spoke to me arrogantly, saying I was too early. Nobody had told me the breakfast hours. The Wi-Fi barely worked, if at all. For stays longer than a day, they don't clean or change sheets or towels. I had to ask for fresh towels, and the woman brought them while saying bad things in Russian. I had to find toilet paper myself too. After I posted my review on Booking, they claimed I had left the room dirty just 30 minutes later, even though I'd left many days earlier. That can't be true.

SARENCE was a great base for skiing during our week of winter break, and it seems especially suited to families with children. The place was comfortable, clean, warm, and cozy. The owners were very welcoming, which added to the atmosphere, and breakfast was delicious, fresh, and different each day. We highly recommend it and hope to come back.

The rooms were perfectly fine, and the breakfasts were very good. The ladies looking after the place were polite and ready to help whenever needed. Snowmobiles are available on site, and the slope is about 700m away on foot. Thanks so much for the hospitality, highly recommend!

The Czerwionka stream runs right beside the property, with a spot to stretch out on a lounger away from the busy streets. The area is peaceful, and the grounds are so relaxing. From the balcony you can look out at the Tatra Mountains or the garden. There's also a barbecue area with a cozy shelter for bad weather. Breakfast was delicious and set us up nicely for a day out. Coffee in the garden in the morning or a beer there in the evening was lovely. The owner is warm, cheerful, and approachable, with a beautiful smile, and she puts so much heart into looking after her guests. It would be a shame not to enjoy her hospitality. This is a fantastic place to relax with a lovely lady, and I highly recommend it. You'll really unwind here.

We felt so welcome and cared for at Sarenka. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the coffee smelled wonderful. The owner was the best part, warm, helpful, always up for a chat, and ready to support us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️ We're saying see you soon, not goodbye. Coming back from Croatia 🏖️❤️
