Will Pastel

The evening restaurant was superb and very affordable, and breakfast had a nice variety. My room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and parking beside the building was free. The room price also included the wellness center, with saunas and a salt cave. I’d certainly stay here again when I’m in the area.

The noise completely spoiled my stay. During my four nights, the cleaning staff started talking loudly, clanking, slamming, ringing, and knocking at 8 am, so I couldn't sleep any longer. The management seems to assume everyone has to get up then, and that guests who want to sleep deserve no respect. I told the receptionist, who said she'd address it, but nothing changed. It felt like the hotel's policy was to force guests awake at 8, and my rest was pretty poor as a result. The receptionists were friendly and spoke good English. The location is convenient for restaurants and other services, while the area itself is quiet. The decor is tasteful, customer parking is free and unsurveyed, and the check-in and check-out schedule is friendly. There was a little gift in the room, and the windows have blinds. Still, the noise ruined the experience.

The apartment rooms were spacious and comfortable, with pleasant decor, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Reception understood English very well. Breakfast was satisfying for the price. I’d definitely come back.

Villa Pastel's restaurant was amazing. The food was top notch, from the breakfast to delicious soups at lunch and beef tartare to die for. We also spent time on the gorgeous patio with friends and loved ones. Although it's by the street, the grape vines and pots of herbs around it make the traffic barely noticeable. I visited in August 2018 with my sister and was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered the building. The hotel's antique atmosphere and its very nice, helpful staff made the stay really enjoyable. I highly recommend this cute little hotel.
