Apartamenty Monterska

My room looked exactly like the photos, and the surroundings were fantastic, with tables, armchairs, and wonderful views. I was staying alone, and what won me over as soon as I walked in was having a proper table in the room where I could sit comfortably. There was no kitchenette in my room, but the one in the hallway shared by two rooms was perfectly adequate. The room was nicely furnished, and the bathroom was comfortable. It’s close to both hiking trails and the city. If you want to go farther, to places like Cieszyn or Żywiec, they’re nearby too, and you don’t have to go through Bielsko. I’d give this place a 5 in every respect, though I did miss having very good contact with the owner.

Apartment 1 had a spacious terrace and fresh, clean rooms with everything we needed, tastefully furnished after a recent renovation. The owner was very kind and easy to communicate with. At 200 PLN a night for three people, the price is worth mentioning too. For this comfort and setting, it’s fantastic. The location works well for getting around, with the train station about 400 meters away, and it still feels idyllic and heavenly on the outskirts of Bielsko, with birds chirping like crazy. The Magurka trail is right nearby, with many others branching off from it. From bed, we could gaze at the beautiful mountains, or sip coffee on the terrace in those surroundings. It was incredible. We’ve barely left and are already thinking about when to come back ;-) We recommend it for mountain hikers and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and very well equipped. I was in no. 7, and found it a really pleasant and comfortable place. It’s a great base for trips to Łysa Góra, the PTTK Na Magurce mountain shelter, and Czupel, a member of the Crown of Polish Mountains. Highly recommend.

The owners were incredibly kind, and the apartment had everything we needed. There’s plenty of free parking, and the bus and train station are nearby. We didn’t use them, though, so I can’t say how or where to buy tickets. The rooms are very nice and well maintained. We recommend Apartment No. 1 for its large windows, terrace and garden access, and lovely views you can enjoy right from bed 😍 There were military exercises nearby, so don’t be scared if you hear a sudden loud bang 😅
