Its one real advantage is the location. The apartment feels very dated, like something from the PRL era, and you can hear sounds from the hallway.

It was peaceful and quiet, and it’s good value for the price. Getting in touch with the owner was easy, and the woman cleaning the rooms was fine too.

Close to the river and city center, the location is a big plus, and the price is another. The room was reasonably clean and had what I needed, with good WiFi and a TV. The beds weren’t especially comfortable, and the bedding could do with an update. For the money, I’d recommend it, as long as you know the accommodation isn’t at a high standard.

For 170 PLN a night, I wasn’t expecting anything luxurious, but basic cleanliness matters. The location was the only real plus, and not enough to make me want to stay again. I’m just glad it was only one night, and I don’t recommend this place. There was dirt everywhere: mugs and glasses were dirty, the cutlery was rusty, old, and dirty, and the scratched pot, kettle, fridge, sockets, switches, hood, and stove taps all needed cleaning. There was mold on the shower grout and no ventilation. The toilet had urine and toilet paper in it, probably left by the cleaner. The lights were dim and faulty, and the entrance door banged against its frame. It made noise whenever I opened the stairwell door, so I used several tissues to cushion it. I could hear everything from the stairwell through the door. The WiFi showed up on my laptop as belonging to unit 14, and it seemed each unit had its own network, but there was no password in the apartment. My requests for it were ignored. After the stay I contacted the owners and sent photos. They asked how they could compensate me, but when I said I didn’t know what to suggest, they never replied. There was no effort to communicate or offer anything, not even an apology, which should have been the first step. From other reviews, I gather that even having a sponge and dish soap was considered a lot.
