Breakfast has lots of choices and was delicious, and the rooms were surprisingly clean. They’re cheap but old, so you get what you pay for. The location is the main drawback, halfway between the train station and the cemetery, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Overall, just OK.

2/10
The room was in terrible shape: the walls were unpainted, and the one beside the bed was dirty from what looked like hundreds of people rubbing against it while sleeping. There was no kettle or fridge. The access road and parking lot were in poor condition, and the neighborhood was awful. My Uber driver said he’d agreed to take me there as an exception because he usually doesn’t drive in that area. Breakfast was poor too, with low-quality food and no food or service available at breakfast time. The service was lazy and unavailable then.

The reception staff were very nice, and the quiet place has a distinctive Soviet style, which made for a unique stay. It’s far from the city center, though, about a half-hour walk to Mills Island.
