Magnus Resort

The staff were respectful and smiled, and the hotel was clean. But staying in a newly finished building meant paint fumes filled my room and gave me headaches for two days. I complained at reception, and they switched on the AC, which did nothing. I felt poisoned by the smell, despite expecting a hotel surrounded by nature. There were plenty of other problems: the bed cover was too narrow, the AC was the only heating, shower pressure was weak, the mini fridge was empty, and room service ended at 22h. There was no shuttle to the exhibition center. No one helped carry my luggage through the long stairway to the new buildings in the rain, and the room door only shut if I slammed it hard.

Breakfast is a real highlight here, with plenty to choose from and consistently excellent food. The restaurant and bar also have a broad selection of good food and drinks. The pool is clean and well cared for, and there's a large car park right at the hotel. I've stayed several times and each visit has been great. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and well maintained, with a modern, clean feel throughout. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. I'll be back, and I'd happily recommend the place.

The food was good, the pool is pretty long, and everything looked lovely. It's the best resort I've stayed at in Poland, and I really love it. The gym was very good too, though the one staff member there seemed a bit reluctant because we're in Poland and my mum speaks neither Polish nor English. Still, it was just one person, so the experience was good overall. Our room was for 3-4 people, with a double bed against the wall and another bed that was a sofa bed. There was hardly any room between the mirror and the little table, so my grandma had to go around us whenever she wanted to use the WC, since someone was lying on the other side. It did cut into our privacy, but it didn't really matter. Please visit, it's a very 😊 place.

The restaurant and bar service was the letdown. Staff didn't keep an eye on guests or seem to try to meet their needs. If you don't go up to the bar, you can wait tens of minutes; I gave up after fifty minutes and went back to my room. A new hotel is being built next door, so some rooms are noisier than you'd expect now, though it wasn't a big issue. Otherwise, a very nice hotel in a good location, with spacious rooms and a large bathroom. Everything else was very good.
