Montenero Resort & SPA

The service was good, the location is great, and breakfast was fine. The rooms were clean, the beds were fine, and we had good mountain views from the windows on both sides. Still, there were a couple of room issues: the AC didn’t warm us, and there was no mini bar. I’d booked two rooms for four people through Expedia, though there were five of us. When we arrived around 10 pm, the owner welcomed us nicely but said we only had one room. He promised to sort it out the next day and gave us beers on the house, which was kind. We didn’t actually get the second room until the third day. It was okay in the end. I’d recommend the hotel.

The setting is nicely away from the main road, but getting to a restaurant on foot isn’t really an option, so you’ll need to drive. The rooms weren’t very clean, and breakfast was decent but nothing special.

For the price, the rooms are beautiful, and the balcony has a lovely view. The staff were accommodating too. There are lots of amazing places within 50 km. Five stars 👍🏽🥇

Surrounded by beautiful nature, Montenero has a peaceful feel. The interior is both original and practical, the food is tasty, and the wellness area is really comfortable, with mountain views. Don’t hesitate to visit Montenero:)
