Breakfast had a phenomenal range, and water, coffee and cake were free throughout the stay. The room was beautiful, like the rest of the hotel, and the bathroom was nice too. I also tried the wellness area. You need to switch the sauna on first, and it’s very small, so this isn’t really a wellness hotel. Still, the value for money is great. The location is outside the city and not the best, though not everyone is looking for a city-center spot.

We were only stopping over on our trip, so the visit was brief, but it was a pleasant one. Even though we arrived at midnight, the guy on reception was really kind and helpful. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was tasty. We tried some local food. Thanks!

The bathroom was clean and stylish, and the beds were comfortable. That pillow was the biggest I’ve ever seen! At first glance the rooms look nice, but there were stains on the carpets and curtains. I skipped breakfast because it looked very basic. I did buy coffee, though, and it tasted like 3in1 instant coffee. Not good.

The breakfast buffet was generous, with lactose-free and vegetarian choices. We loved the coffee and waffles, and the local selection was well stocked. Staff at breakfast were friendly and spoke good English. Dinner was a different story on the 19th of februari. The staff that night were underwhelming and didn’t speak English until the hotel boss arrived. They brought dinner on a trolley and didn’t seem very caring or service-minded. Trays and learning to carry three plates at once would help. The food itself was very good, though. We had the Lantier burger and chicken. We came as a group of six from the Netherlands in februari, after driving 1000 km, and Natalia welcomed us warmly. She was lovely, easy to approach, and spoke clear English. She even found us a good restaurant in Bytom and called to book a table. We chose this hotel as a base for our trip to Krakow and the concentration/extermination camp Auschwitz. We were in rooms 105, 106 and 107. Rooms 105 and 106 face the street, and traffic meant we kept the windows closed, though it wasn’t an issue late at night. The rooms were nice, with good climate control, a strong shower and very comfortable beds. We could hear music from the restaurant at 7am, but it didn’t bother us. Parking on the hotel grounds is free. We suggest using the south side of the hotel, as shown in the picture. The place looks brand new, is clean and well maintained, and the spots on the carpet are part of its design. A lounge room would be useful. We didn’t use the spa, but it looked very nice. Our stay was very pleasant, and the price-quality ratio worked well for us. We’d recommend it for a short stay of 3-4 nights.
