The owners speak good English, and they’re clearly committed to making guests comfortable. There’s lots of fun stuff around, so when it rains or you’re worn out from sightseeing, you can spend the afternoon indoors. Breakfast was the icing on the cake. I didn’t expect so much choice for the price.

The staff were especially nice, and there’s a pleasant shared area with a sofa, games, tea, and coffee. The rooms and bathroom were clean, and breakfast comes with the price. It’s a good value option in the area, right in the center. We even stayed here while visiting Ostrava.

The Austrian-Hungarian royalty theme had me chuckling the whole time. We spent two nights in a double room, which was nicely decorated, and the place had a sweet, homey feel. The owner was one of the funniest and friendliest people I’ve met in a long time.

I got the position through the Worldpackers website and spent a month working there. The place was comfortable, clean, and well managed, with personal attention. The three guys running it were genuinely great, warm and welcoming people. Special shout out to Adam and Mike. A pleasure.

I spent one night here and was completely satisfied. The basic services, familiar staff, and equipment made it a great place to stay, and I’d recommend this unique spot and come back in the future. One thing: a towel in the room would be perfect, as it can catch you by surprise if you’re traveling light.
