Hotel Perła Bieszczadów Geovita

I still think about the pierogi ruskie and potato pancakes with goulash at 4 Pory Roku. The restaurant makes thoughtful use of fresh local ingredients, and both dishes were delicious. We had a wonderful stay at Geovita Hotel, surrounded by luxurious comforts at affordable room rates. There’s more included than just a bed: guests can use the pool, the sauna for ages 18 and up, and a trail about the history of Polish oil mining. It’s a memorable place to stay while exploring the Bieszczady Mountains.

We paid almost 5,000 złoty for four people to stay three nights, and the experience was very disappointing. The reception staff were rude, and we won’t return. At Christmas dinner, the food was lukewarm, from the borscht with cold dumplings to the pierogi ruskie, sauerkraut, croquettes, and breaded cod sitting in warmers. That was the end of the dinner service. Breakfast on Christmas Day was tasteless too. The regional dinner was grilled food on paper plates with tea in disposable cups. The food overall was tasteless. Our room was cold; replacing the heater helped a little. The internet didn’t work, though the staff blamed the Bieszczady Mountains, while their own phones seemed fine. Satellite TV was also unreliable: Ukrainian channels would sometimes come on, then the signal disappeared. Outside of the hotel grounds, there’s nothing that would bring us back. It felt like someone was trying to make money without putting in the effort.

The buffet food was fresh, varied, and delicious, and there are plenty of tucked-away spots for a quiet chat as well as areas to socialize. The friendly local service adds to the Bieszczady Mountains feel. Watching the staff bring supplies to the bonfire by quad 🚜🔥 is a treat in itself. There’s a warm-water pool and three small saunas, enough for a relaxing visit. The spacious site also has a restaurant, bonfire shelter, and training rooms, and is largely accessible, with ramps and elevators. Everything was spotless, and it’s clear the owners and staff care about the details. Set among greenery 🌲, it’s suited to training sessions, camps, or a family getaway. The drive from Rzeszów takes about three hours 🚗, which is part of the charm. I recommend it wholeheartedly 😊

We were there with our little one, and the restaurant staff were so helpful. One of the women even called a friend to find out where I could get swim diapers. The goulash pancakes and Bojkowska pancakes were delicious, and the rooms have their own charm. Everything was A+.
