There were a lot of bed bugs in our room, and they refused to move us.

Breakfast had something for every taste, including hot porridge, which I hadn't found elsewhere, and even clafoutis. The room was very comfortable, with a balcony, and the bathroom was spacious. Nearby restaurants are a stroll through a beautiful, peaceful park away. I only missed having a fridge in the room, but for a one-night stay it wasn't a big deal.

Be sure to ask for a renovated room, because the old ones aren't worth the money. There's no elevator, though the staff are friendly. It's a small, quiet place in a good location, and the food was better than I expected. The hotel was being renovated during my stay in Dec 2019/Jan 2020, but there wasn't any noisy work going on.

Hotel Impresja has a wonderful feel, somewhere between an art gallery and a castle. The food was amazing and delicious, among the best I've had in hotels. Service was very friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable, with soft beds and good pillows, which matters to some people. It's right in the heart of Duszniki Zdroj, close to the city center and also near the start of the mountain trails, so the location worked well for everyone's needs. I'll definitely return and can recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
