The owners are friendly, approachable and helpful. The breakfasts taste good, though I missed having cake or something else sweet, or some fruit. The pizza is delicious, just like people say. The guesthouse is away from the busy streets, but it's a bit far from the slopes, so you'll need a car, and parking is a problem. Reaching it in winter is difficult, though a 4WD can manage. There is an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi on site, for an extra charge, but nobody mentioned that we could use them. I think lots of guests would, especially in winter. The rooms are small but warm. There's no kettle or mugs, which really should be standard these days. The bathrooms are tiny and have a towel, but the shower head is broken, and there's no water pressure on the first floor at any time, so you can't shower. The TV is there but gets no reception. I'd suggest updating the guesthouse website so it gives more information and has better coverage.

I was supposed to stay until Thursday, but after two sleepless nights I cancelled. This was my first girls' trip with my daughter. I wanted us to have a nice time and spend time with friends, but the stress of this stay is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I come from the countryside, so the conditions themselves don't frighten me, and I might otherwise have shrugged them off. What made me write this was the owner's rudeness. After I got home, I complained and asked for a refund. The owner didn't reply to me, but forwarded the email to a friend and warned him to choose his friends better. When I called, she said I'd made up my mind and she wouldn't be intimidated, then hung up. The price didn't match the conditions at all in my opinion. It was 300 PLN per person, and 300 PLN for my 6-year-old, reduced by 20% with what felt like great reluctance. Then another 200 PLN was added to the bill, supposedly by mistake. I stayed two nights but was charged for three because a group of friends arrived Saturday and I arrived Sunday. The lady hadn't checked who was staying where, and put responsibility for the accommodation on one of the guests while billing everyone else as she pleased. After the 'mistake' of 200 PLN was deducted, I ultimately paid 1,642 PLN for three nights, including one night without sleep at the hotel and pizza. The room itself was dirty. The sheets were smelly and yellowed, and I was disgusted to sleep in them with my 6-year-old; she also wasn't comfortable sleeping there on her own. There was scratched wallpaper, damp that kept clothes from drying, and leaky windows. The room was meant to be a single, but two beds had been crammed in, leaving no room to move. The bathroom and shower were tiny, and the shower stall moved around while I was using it. At night, a drunk guest got the wrong room and entered ours using the same door code as the other rooms. You could hear everything happening downstairs, and the TV didn't work. The atmosphere felt more like communist-era Poland than the mountains. The room was upgraded, but had unsecured cables sticking out of the walls, a storage room full of mattresses and a massage bed wrapped in plastic, and a radiator hot enough to burn you with a bed right next to it. The shared area was dirty and cluttered with dusty knick-knacks. Tables were sticky and hadn't been wiped after previous guests. There was a coffee machine with a sign saying, 'Coffee only for breakfast.' The breakfasts were mediocre. For dinner, they served soup in small bowls, with dishes and portions like at school. When we asked to have the TV fixed, the woman who owns the place was rude and said, 'So why did they come here? Watch TV?' When I said it was too loud to sleep and asked if we could move to a quieter room, she said we were oversensitive and maybe shouldn't take trips like this. A friend swapped rooms with us. I asked for cleaning, and the woman looked sulky and dismissive and asked what there was to clean. In general, when I raised any complaint with the owner, she responded with insults and said things were better now than before. And to top it off, there are cats roaming the property. I love animals, but one yowled at the top of his lungs at night and peed in a guest's suitcase as they were leaving. The owners said they should have locked the room door.

A really pleasant place, with a homey feel and delicious food. I'd recommend it.

It's peaceful and quiet, with beautiful scenery all around, and the place is clean and well kept. The morning tea never tastes as good as it does at Mrs. Renia and Mr. Stanisław's, and breakfast is delicious. If you ask, they also make lovely pizza and other treats, including heavenly pierogi. The hosts are so kind, open, friendly and helpful. We've had a wonderful time here again and will definitely come back. Best wishes, and see you soon.
