Villa Amber Gąski

Great.

Great.

The owners were friendly. One of them even went to the trouble of arranging another room for us later on, and the beach was only about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Still, we had several issues during our week at the so-called Villa Amber. Red marks, probably old blood, were on the sheets, curtains, and towels. The rooms smelled a bit musty at first, though airing them out took care of that. The kitchen badly needs updating. The cooktop was made for two pots, but only one would fit, and it sits slightly down in the counter. There also wasn't enough crockery, which seemed odd with the villa fully booked. The whirlpool that was promised wasn't there, and the sauna doors wouldn't shut properly.

The beach is around 1,000 metres away, and the room photos looked like they might have been taken years ago. My husband and I stayed in early September, and we were very disappointed with the small room we got. There was a moldy smell in the bathroom. The owner was unpleasant on the phone and didn't even come out to see us. I don't recommend it.
