Apartamenty Sun & Snow Neptun Park

It’s a calm, quiet residential area. Barriers at both entrances keep people who don’t belong there from getting in.

There was no hot water, the blinds were coming off the windows, and the balcony door wouldn't shut properly. Nobody made an effort to fix any of it, and getting in touch with the manager was difficult from the outset. My wife and our two little ones, aged 1 and 3, ended up having what I called the worst holiday of their lives. I was rude on the phone, as the manager will probably point out, but I reacted that way after being told to heat water in a small oven. The children had to wash in freezing water, and nothing was done. The woman on the phone even said mockingly that perhaps my wife wasn't smart enough to turn on the hot water. After another call, Booking.com messaged me saying Neptun Park claimed my card was already valid, although they had charged the deposit and the full stay. I consider them frauds and completely unserious. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here.

Getting out of the gated community puts you right by the promenade entrance and the beach. The grounds are beautifully green and maintained, and the location is the apartment's biggest plus. Inside, though, it was impractical: odd chests with tiny drawers meant we had to keep clothes on the sofa. The wardrobe hangs above the fridge near the ceiling, and you need to be at least 190 cm tall to reach the lever that lowers the rail. There's a fold-out sofa bed, and the balcony furniture was very dirty. We were told the day before arrival, after paying the full amount, that another 300 PLN deposit was needed to get the entry code. We're still waiting for that deposit back.

The beach is huge, and you can walk along it all the way to Sopot, about 4 km away. The sea is a three-minute walk through the park, and there are shops and public transport nearby. The whole area is fenced with entry through a checkpoint, and there's plenty of parking, including an underground garage. I really liked the place, though the prices are a bit high.
