Apartinfo Aura Island Apartments

I stayed here in June 2023 and had a really comfortable visit. The owners were professional, getting the keys was easy, and the place was simple to find. It felt safe and was very clean, with excellent service and fast Wi-Fi. The modern apartment had everything listed: an iron, washing machine, fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, cutlery, pots, dishwasher, and flat-screen TV. The hot water was perfect. It’s right in the center, with restaurants and grocery shops less than 50 meters away. I’ve seen the bad reviews, but maybe they’re about an earlier time, before the property was updated. This was an exceptional experience for me, and I’d recommend it without hesitation and book again.

You can walk to the Old City in a short time, and there’s a grocery shop and cafe in the same building. Our apartment could sleep six and had a good bathroom, lots of storage, and a washing machine, dishwasher, and stove with oven. The furniture, lighting, and view were all nice. The main issue was the lack of temperature control. We had to keep the windows open, and noise from the outdoor area meant we got less sleep. Curtains to block out the light would help, and the kitchen needed a towel or paper, the bathroom needed hand towels, and we could have used more toilet paper. Still, a very nice place.

The hygiene was terrible. After I complained, I was promised a full refund, but even after waiting, the money never came. They also stopped answering whenever I tried to contact them again. I strongly advise against these “apartments.” If you’ve had a similar experience, report them to the Provincial Sanitary Station Epidemiological in Gdańsk and Consumer protection in Poland.

We were on vacation here with the whole family. The location was good and the first impression was positive, but using the apartment was another story. The shower didn’t work and was full of scum. Half the furniture was broken, the fridge barely worked, and the electrical outlets had problems too. The bedroom lamp was damaged and the sofa had dirty spots. That’s just the main list, for a place advertised as a “luxury apartment.” They offered to move us to another apartment, but since we were there for three days, moving wasn’t convenient. We only asked them to replace the shower, and after agreeing to fix it, they didn’t even call. The apartment didn’t match the website pictures. I don’t recommend it.
