The place was so uncomfortable at night that opening the windows wasn’t really an option: there were no screens or air conditioning, and mosquitoes came straight in, even with the lights off. The garden also felt neglected and offered little privacy. Other problems included scratched walls, what looked like mold on the bathroom tiles, a blocked sink, and hair on the wall decorations. The curtains had been taken down for some reason, and parking spaces were often unavailable. The service was rude too: the woman started shouting and hung up. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Even the first seaside cottages you find would be a better choice.

The apartment gets unbearably hot, and there aren’t any fans. We also found tiny silverfish running around the bathroom floor at night, and one even ended up in my suitcase. The balcony was so dirty we had to clean it ourselves before using it. There is a dishwasher, but it smelled so bad when we opened it that we washed everything by hand instead. It seemed fine at first, but the problems became clear.
