Craft Beer Central Hotel

We had everything we needed in the rooms, which were above standard, and the breakfast room was nice. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant with a good menu and craft beers. It's in a perfect spot beside the train station, with a bus stop right outside and the river less than a 15-minute walk away. Nothing to fault here. We'll definitely be back.

My week at Central Hotel Gdańsk, ending January 10th, was even better than I expected. I'd stayed there the previous March, so I was especially looking forward to coming back. Room #208 was very comfortable. I especially liked the underfloor bathroom heating and the extra storage in the built-in wardrobe. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the staff member looking after my room towards the end of the stay went above and beyond. Reception was welcoming and accommodating, just as I remembered. When I arrived late at night on the 3rd, there was a lovely sweet treat waiting for me with a note thanking me for returning. The restaurant ran efficiently and had plenty of food and drink choices. Hasta la vista, Central Hotel Gdańsk.

I was impressed by how well the modern technical features fit into the historic building, and the room was immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. At the restaurant, the dishes looked beautiful and tasted rich, and the Rubin dark beer stood out even though I'm not usually a beer drinker. Reception was professional and warm throughout. The receptionist who checked me in also handled checkout the next morning just as efficiently. Julia deserves a special mention for her natural communication, service attitude, and clear fit for customer relations. There was very little to improve. I'll return with my family this summer.

Right in the center of Gdansk, this lovely old building makes for a wonderful hotel. The price for the quality is great, and the brewery downstairs serves fantastic beer. I tried a lager that seemed like one of the best I've ever had.
