Hostel Filip

A great little spot for an easy overnight stay. The location is handy, with what you need for a quick trip and pretty much everything close by.

We visited with family in January and found a quiet, peaceful place right in the city centre, with its own car park. It's close to the Old Town and local amenities, and the staff were friendly and outgoing. Our room was clean and had an ensuite, and the beds were good quality. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, kettles, fridge/freezer, utensils and cups. Breakfast came with tea and coffee, and was a nice start before heading out to admire Gdańsk. We'll definitely come back.

Breakfast was included, and there was plenty of it: scrambled eggs, sausage, ham and cheese slices, tomato and cucumber, fresh bread, tea and coffee. Everything was clean, though one window blind had a bit of mould. My room had a private bathroom, TV, small fridge and free Wi-Fi. It's only a few minutes' walk from Gdańsk Główny train station. I let them know on the booking form that I'd arrive after 1am, and check-in was no problem. The receptionist was polite and helpful. I liked the different colourful doors and the colour-changing lights, and I'd happily stay again.

The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms have heated showers. It's a lovely little hostel, especially for the price. There's a fridge in the room as well as one in the shared kitchen, plus free tea, coffee and Wi-Fi.
