Villa Eva

Villa Eva made our stay feel more connected to Gdańsk and its story, and we'd love to come back. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The boutique feel is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's near public transport and within walking distance of what you might need. We had our 5-year-old with us, and they loved the garden and the wooded park behind the hotel. Parking in the private, fenced lot was easy. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was very well done, with plenty of meats, cheeses, yogurt, breads, and drinks, plus a chef who could make custom orders.

The lunch menu is good value, with portions that are definitely large enough. I can recommend the coffee too. I only ate lunch here, so I can't comment on the rooms.

We were traveling with little kids and had plenty of requests, but the staff took care of everything beyond what we expected. The hotel has a fantastic atmosphere and location. Breakfast was amazing, with a great buffet and really good coffee. They also have a great wine selection at reasonable prices. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Gdańsk!

The huge park nearby makes the location mostly quiet, and the hotel was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, thanks to its beautiful garden and decor. We stayed five nights and I'd give it 9/10. The rooms were spacious, air-conditioned, nicely serviced, and came with complimentary tea and water. The only thing missing was an extractor fan in the bathroom. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and most spoke English very well. There are about a dozen rooms, a restaurant, and a wedding venue. Occasionally, you may hear a siren for a minute from the nearby fire station. Breakfast had a great spread: quark pancakes, Waldorf salad, local deli meats, cheeses, eggs, good bread, muesli, coffee, and juice. I had lunch there a few times too. The lunch special is the chef's choice, with soup, a main, and a glass of wine for about £5. Great restaurant. There's a bus to and from the airport that takes about 30 minutes, or a taxi costs about £10. You can buy tickets in the airport shop. A tram goes to the beautiful Old town/Long Market, with tickets sold at the rail stops in self-service red machines. You can also take a tram to the beach, about 30 minutes away. The beach is clean and has lockers and cafes.
