Check-in instructions were clear, and the place was tidy. The bed and pillows were comfy.

It’s a two star hotel, but I’m giving it five. The service was very good, and it’s a 12-minute walk from Old Town.

We had breakfast included, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I appreciated the effort they put in. I’d highly recommend this hotel, which is right in the old town.

The main thing you’re paying for here is the location. The entrance staff seemed completely disinterested, and our room was small, with no drawers or wardrobe. We were on the 3rd floor, the top floor, and there’s no lift. Carrying a heavy suitcase wasn’t an issue for me, but I can see it being a problem for others. The walls are paper thin, so you can clearly hear people in the next room. One night we had very energetic neighbours exercising around midnight-1am, which woke us up. Fair play to them, but we didn’t need to hear it. The bathroom was nice, but the shower was either scalding or cold, with no in-between, and there was no shower rail. There’s a nightclub called the “Bunker” literally opposite, and one night we heard a lot of noise from the club and from guests leaving it. For £40 a night more, we could have stayed in a 5-star hotel.
