La Petite Apartments

The rooms are nice and the location is handy, with everything close by, but I don't pay for a hotel to sleep in an igloo. It was so cold that I needed two sweatshirts and two pairs of pants. Honestly, even a homeless person in a box would be warmer. Keeping a room at 14-15 degrees Celsius is a pathetic mistake. Have you mixed up the seasons, or are you trying that hard to save on heating? Then close this shelter. It was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend it again. What a mess, syphilis and a grave.

Getting to the property was a pain. It's up a hill, with a cobbled road for cars, and parking is limited. Booking.com doesn't mention that, and there's nowhere to park close to the hotel. We got all the information we needed about reaching the room before we arrived, but nobody responded after we raised concerns. The room itself was quite large and well furnished, and the bathroom was spacious. Still, there was dust on the furniture, and my husband and I had two separate beds even though we'd booked one large bed.

The dishes could use an update, and the cups were pretty dirty. There was only one fork, and the bathroom tap kept dripping. Still, the apartment has a little veranda to sit on, a comfortable bed, and a sofa that can be unfolded. It's about 10 minutes from the main train station, with public transport and shops within walking distance. Contactless check-in is a real plus. For one night, it's not a bad option.

I liked the gated complex, and having garage parking was a big plus. There's a bistro, bakery and shops just outside the fence, and the location is great, about a 10-minute walk to the city center. Brzeźno beach is a 7.5-kilometer drive away, and I highly recommend it. The description could be more accurate, though. What it calls garden and city views is actually an old training ground and overgrown land where homeless people sleep. There was dust under the bed and the room wasn't very clean. The promised table was tiny, so working on a laptop was impossible, and the lack of a proper table was a real nuisance. If they update the description and do a better job cleaning, I'd recommend it.
