Once we figured out the logistics and got used to the surroundings, the location was great. The apartment was spotless, beautifully presented, and much warmer and cosier than we expected. Getting there and in for the first time took some persistence, but it was worth it. My one complaint was the next-door neighbour's TV playing loudly from 6 a.m. I avoided confronting them, though I could have knocked on the door or wall. Maybe the owner should deal with it.
The apartment is cosy and well furnished, right in Gdansk's old town, but the old building was very noisy. On two nights we couldn't sleep because four British girls in the maisonette upstairs were laughing at 3-4 a.m., walking around in high heels, and banging doors shut. There was also a problem with the hot water in the hot tub. I wouldn't recommend it to families with small children.
We had excellent service in a warm, very clean apartment right in the heart of the old town. Fantastic place for a visit to the Christmas market.
Everything was close by, and the price was very reasonable. The apartment was clean and warm, with all the basics we needed: a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, stove, and dishes. It worked perfectly for a family of four, and I recommend it. I'll definitely come back. It's a real gem for me.
Right in the centre, close to everything, and the location is fantastic. The room beside the bathroom and kitchen had a damp smell, though. We were booked as six adults, but it didn't really suit that number since the bed upstairs was too narrow for two and seemed fit only for a child.
