From the attic Double Deluxe room, we had great views of the Tower and the river opposite. It had a double bed and private bathroom, and the hotel was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. There was a bit of trouble unlocking the gate after dark, but it got sorted out, and I really enjoyed the stay.

The price for my stay was really good, so I'm giving it 4 stars. Check-in instructions were very clear, and the hostel is in a great spot. My room was fairly clean, but there was a lingering dirty-feet smell that wasn't mine. The bed felt uncomfortable compared with other hostels and hotels, and outside light came in at night because the curtains didn't cover the windows fully. I had trouble falling asleep.

We were a group of six in an en-suite room, with enough space for all of us, and found the hostel to be good value. It was fairly quiet, though everything in the room was very basic and could use updating. The staff seemed nice when we did see them, which wasn't often. It's around a 10-minute walk to the old town, with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bakeries, and a pharmacy within walking distance. Based on our stay, I'd recommend it.

The rooms are average in size, and the staff are nice. The hostel is close to the centre of Gdansk, with everything within walking distance. Just keep in mind there's no front desk around the clock.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights and had a large room to ourselves. The location was great, and I'd definitely recommend the hostel.
