Waterlane Riverside SPA, Pool & Gym by Downtown Apartments

The location worked well, near the centre of Gdańsk, and the rooms were fairly okay for their standard. The service, though, was terrible. The employees were grumpy and unfriendly, as if having guests there annoyed them. We were given just one key for the rooms we'd rented, which caused problems.

They cancelled our booking two months before the trip, even though we had reserved a year in advance. Then they listed what looked like the same place at twice the price and asked us to book it again. This feels like a scam.

Great location and a lovely view from the window. Everything else was okay, though the place could use some renovation.

The location was great, but the room was in awful shape: mold, a broken hairdryer, a warped bed frame, and more. We booked five beds and were given only four. The mattress on the fourth "bed" was rotten and disgusting, and I'm uploading a photo. For our four-day stay they offered just a €30 credit. We spent all four days arguing with them, and the service was a disaster because nobody was ever around. Staff in the spa area were very unfriendly too. The value for money was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it to families, especially those with children.
