Hotel Dom Marynarza

There’s charm and style in this old hotel, and its location is very good. The rooms are clean, with fresh bed linen, though they could use a refresh. The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly.

Breakfasts were generous and very tasty, and the staff were nice. I really enjoyed my stay at Dom Marynarza. The building is well kept and less than a five-minute walk from the sea. Most of the guests seemed to be Polish, so I’m not sure how well an English-speaking guest would find it. Great value for money, highly recommend!

The ocean is quite close to the hotel, but that’s the only good thing I can say. Our sheets were torn and the room didn’t feel fresh, so it wasn’t worth the money. We planned to stay two nights, but checked out after one and found a better hotel for less. Breakfast wasn’t good at all; the smell of the food made me lose my appetite. I do not recommend it!

The beautiful view and walking distance to everything are real pluses. The rooms are simple but clean, and the place has an awesome atmosphere, mixing the 1930s with the communist era. As a history buff, I think it’s a great place to stay. For some reason, the atmosphere reminded me of the Queen Mary. Unfortunately, I had to edit this today. There’s security at the door, but people were partying and going crazy all night with no control. We were woken up repeatedly, and drunk guys knocked on our door at 5 am because they couldn’t figure out which room was theirs. The staff did nothing.
