Uroczysko Sosnówka

The wooden house has a lovely charm, and I’m always happy to come back. The rooms are atmospheric, with single beds, and the large training room is in the same building. It has underfloor heating, which kept us warm even when it was freezing outside. There’s Wi-Fi, parking and a big garden too. I’ve been here with training groups twice a year for five years. We love the homely warmth, the delicious food and Joasia, the owner, who puts so much heart into this place. It’s a dream workshop venue for groups of up to 18 people.

The food is wonderful, cooked on site by the lovely owner and her daughter. They worked around all our dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. The place itself feels magical and warm, balancing rural calm with Scandinavian good taste, and it’s surrounded by peace, nature and positive energy. It would be great for workshops, group get-togethers or an outing with a bigger group of friends. Apparently, you can even spot bison there. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Delicious meals, forest, quiet and the owner’s hospitality made this a wonderful place to relax, and it works for workshops too. The atmosphere is fantastic and you feel right at home. Places like this hardly seem to exist anymore, and yet here it is.

Breakfast was a highlight: homemade cheesecakes, a tasty omelet, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon chips and aromatic coffee with a view of the forest. You could sit there for hours, looking at the greenery. The hostess is incredibly hospitable, and the accommodation is excellent. Uroczysko Sosnówka is a peaceful place on the edge of Białowieża Forest, with nature seeming to look right in. There are no immediate neighbors, so it feels private. A paved road leads almost to the house at the end of the road. It’s a good base for exploring Podlasie, or simply breathing in the forest air and relaxing, alone or with family. Working remotely is no problem either. I’ve been to many places in Podlasie and highly recommend this one for a visit or a longer stay.
