I only came here to eat, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The staff were refreshingly direct: they tell you right away what’s off the menu that day, then still make an effort to find it for you. The meal was decent, home-style cooking. The local craft beers were a nice extra, with a decent selection at good prices, though nothing mind-blowing. A good choice!

The portions are huge, so I left with a full belly. The broth tasted like grandma’s, and the tripe was amazing. The tongues practically melt in your mouth, while the liver was like something from the best hotel. The highlander’s pancake was wonderful and crispy, with velvety sauce and meat. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The shower is awful, and the rooms are poor. There aren’t enough sockets, and everyday essentials like towels and paper are missing.
