I can't recommend this place. It left me disappointed, and I hate to say it, but I felt the owner was dishonest. This wasn't about a lack of luxury. I hike a lot and sleep in all kinds of conditions. It was the owners' attitude and the feeling that we'd been misled that upset me. I booked one night by phone well in advance while walking the GSB trail. I even offered to pay ahead because the owner said people often don't cancel, which is an understandable problem for guesthouses. She declined and said she trusted me. I reserved a double room with a bathroom and told her I'd be hiking GSB and wouldn't have phone reception on the trail. Two days before reaching Iwonicz, while I had a signal, I called to confirm we'd arrive that evening as agreed. She said new bookings were coming in but that she was waiting for us. When we arrived, though, she said the room we'd booked was no longer available. Instead, she offered us a cabin-sized room without a bathroom, with a sink and toilet in the corridor and a shower on another floor. She wanted the same price, 50 PLN per person. The owner acted as if the new bookings were beyond her control. She was rude, and when we said this wasn't what we'd agreed on two weeks earlier, she said we were the ones being unfair because people were interested in her rooms. We also checked and found that the tiny room she'd offered was still listed on Booking.com. It seemed to us she accepted every booking and then assigned rooms as she pleased. I assume she bumped us because we'd booked only one night. That's really poor, especially since I had booked well ahead to avoid this kind of situation. We declined the room. On the way toward the center of Iwonicz, a few hundred meters from the place, we called Noclegi Henrykówka on ul. Piwarskiego, across from what seemed to be the abandoned Jutrzenka. They gave us a room with a balcony, a clean bathroom in the corridor, and a very friendly owner. We paid 40 PLN each.

The owner was extremely rude, and the bathrooms were incredibly small. The windows were so dirty we couldn't see outside, and there was absolutely no parking. There was no WiFi or restaurant either. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have to sleep in your car.

The room was tiny, very worn, and had a 1970s feel. The bathroom and toilet aren't even worth mentioning. It might do for a night while hiking, but it's no good for relaxing.

The owners are such friendly, pleasant people. The price and service were fantastic. I definitely recommend it.
