It was fine.

We were three people in a two-room apartment with a kitchen and bathroom, and it was enough space for us. The half-timbered interior was beautiful, and the hosts were very friendly. The rooms were okay. The knives were sharp and there were lots of dishes, though we could have used a few more forks and definitely more big mugs! ;-) A staircase behind the house goes down to the Kamienna stream. For outings, I recommend walking in the Karkonosze Mountains, visiting Pilchowicka Dam, the tower in Siedlęcin, Chojnik Castle or the Jizera Mountains. Further away, you can also cross into the Czech side, for example to the Karkonosze Mountains and Czech Paradise. The location is great for Cieplice-Zdrój, the spa park and the Norwegian National Park.

It was quiet, clean and felt safe, with parking available and covered spots set aside for evening gatherings. The place is tidy and close to the city center.

The place suited us, though our room didn’t have a kitchen. They do have rooms with kitchens, but you need to ask for one. The location is lovely, right at the back of the property by the Kamienna River. There are barbecue areas on site and enough parking for at least eight cars. Prices are reasonable compared with other places nearby, so we’ll definitely come back.
