Danuta’s place is spotless. My room and the bathroom were clean, and the kitchenette had everything in its place. I also made use of the gazebo, garden, and bicycle, taking a few short rides around the area. There’s plenty of room for cycling. Early check-in and a slightly late check-out were no problem because of my train times. Wojanów is a small village, so expect peace and quiet, with just one shop and no entertainment. That’s probably what tourists are after. A green trail goes to the junction for Sokolik, Krzyżna Góra, or the Szwajcarka Mountain Hut, with routes continuing from there. There’s a public transport stop right outside, and you can take a bus to Jelenia Góra to explore the town. At the neighboring village of Dino, it’s a 20-minute walk, or you can rent a bike from the hosts. The Rudawy Janowickie region is charming, and I recommend both the mountains and Danuta’s accommodation. One thing to plan for: from the train station it’s a 25-minute walk along a winding asphalt road without sidewalks. It’s all walkable, but without a car you may have some inconvenience getting around, so you’ll need to make arrangements. Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality. I hope to see you again soon!

We had a very nice New Year’s Eve in a different kind of setting. It was inexpensive and pleasant, and the hosts were friendly and knew a lot about the area. The place lives up to its name and makes a great base for trips to the Sokoliki and Rudawy Mountains. A lovely getaway. 🙂

The place is clean and well looked after, and the owners are very friendly. There’s private parking on site. My only small complaint, if you want to cook, is that there aren’t cooking utensils like wooden spoons or plastic spatulas. Otherwise, I have nothing to complain about and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Mrs. Danuta welcomed us warmly, along with two lovely dogs. The room is clean and tidy, just as shown in the photos and description, and it’s quiet and peaceful here. You can buy homemade eggs from the hostess or order dumplings. I’ll share more when we leave, and tomorrow I’ll add photos so you can see how nice the room is.
