Mercure Jelenia Gora

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of tasty choices, and the whole crew was extremely friendly and polite. The hotel’s a bit dated, though: the rooms have a mostly 1990s look. They were clean and comfortable, but don’t really match Accor’s usual standards. It’s not in the center, but the main square and railway station are each around a 20-minute walk away. The walk to the station is a bit steep.

The people at the lobby restaurant and bar really stood out. They spoke English, were welcoming to foreigners, and were very customer focused. Beata was especially patient with our big multicultural group while helping with drinks orders each evening. In the morning, the bar and restaurant manager also sorted out my late breakfast request. There’s a lovely park right opposite the hotel, and parking is plentiful if you’re driving. The old town is about a kilometer away, with plenty of local attractions within walking distance. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and practical, though not especially modern. There’s also a wellness center with a sauna and swimming pool. A great, convenient place to stay in Jelenia Gora.

The food was delicious, and breakfast had more than 20 options across different cuisines, including good choices for vegetarians. There was natural alkaline water by reception, and an Indian restaurant about 900 meters away. The hotel was very clean, the room had a nice feel, and the staff were kind, helpful, and cooperative. It’s around 1.2 km from Jalenia Gora railway station. I stayed for two nights, 24-26 Sep 2025.

We’ve stayed here several times in this city already. Everyone was so nice, from the person handling the phone reservation to reception and the restaurant waiters. The service is the best.
