The neighborhood was quiet, the room warm, and the location good. But the night was awful. There was a party in the common area with shouting and singing that carried on past 3:00 p.m. The walls aren't soundproof, so even small movements come through. It was hard to get anyone's attention, since you couldn't tell what state the guests were in or how they'd react, and I still don't know whether any staff were home overnight. After the party, a couple next door had loud, uninhibited sex, then spent the next hour arguing, with the girl wailing that she must have gone inside, so what should she do? Sleep was impossible. It felt like the fallout from a college party, not a place you pay to stay. I was so fed up that I started looking for somewhere else. The owner's response to our complaint wasn't impressive. I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing break, though partygoers might like it. The rules mention quiet at night, but that didn't happen. We haven't received a refund for the night we cancelled because of the poor conditions. The internet barely works, or really, doesn't work at all.
