After hiking, this is a great place to get a meal. The inside is cosy and warm, even on a cold, miserable day, and the staff are friendly and speak English, which was handy with my rusty Polish, sorry. The food is delicious, especially the Pierogi and soups. Get the pancakes, they're so fluffy! You do have to pay to use the toilet, which is a shame, but it didn't spoil the experience. Dziękuję!

The surroundings are nice, and the beds are cheap, though sheets cost extra. Food and drinks are on the expensive side. There aren't enough toilets when the place is full, which can be a problem. Vegan choices are almost nonexistent, just fries, though you can ask for the letscho.

The rooms are small and the showers are shared, but the atmosphere makes up for it. This little mountain house has a lively feel and a strong local character, with a creative interior. The locals are open and chatty, which makes it easy to enjoy the social side of the place. A lovely retreat if you want to connect with the culture and people.

After about an hour's walk up, it's a lovely place to stop and relax on a summer day. The setting is idyllic, and there are decent basic food options and cold beers. There isn't much seating, though.
