Willa Góral - Góralska Osada

A super hotel.

The Booking photos gave a misleading idea of the apartment. In person, the room was completely different, and worse. I'd never had that happen before. It was poorly lit, and the kitchenette didn't have much in it. The stove and oven were both dirty, the TV remote didn't work, and the walls had dirty marks and stains. The room is upstairs, separated from the ground floor and other guests by a wooden door. We could hear everything downstairs, and the noise was unbearable. The smells from the room, like fried onions or boiled eggs, could even be noticed by the "apartment" downstairs. The stench was unbearable. There is a bathtub, but when I came back from the mountains before midnight and tried to take a hot bath, the water was hot only briefly before turning cold. 🥶 Also, I saw that the owner had called my phone at 00:07 in the morning. I don't know what he wanted at that hour. 🤔 Maybe I was supposed to stop the water from running into the bathtub. 🤔 The place was dirty and smelly. I stay in rooms often, but what Góralska Osada offers is a disgrace. Seriously, I don't recommend it.

The neighborhood is peaceful and away from the city center, which suited me. The price is attractive and seems in line with the quality of the services. It's a useful base for sightseeing, with everything nearby and reachable by car. A good fit if you want quiet and aren't looking for an exclusive package.

This is about the main building, not the wooden summer houses. It's an okay place if your plan is mainly to sleep and go hiking, especially with Śnieżka Mountain as your destination. The price is attractive, the location works well for that, and the room was fairly clean, aside from the fungus I'll mention. The building felt a bit neglected. Easter decorations were still in the dining room in late June, there was no soap in the bathroom, and the room was quite dark. The wall lamp didn't work, and even if it had, it was on the side wall rather than by the bed. There was fungus on the ceiling, as shown in the photo. I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.
