Folwark Książęcy

The food was really good, and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, but cold because the heaters weren’t working. They brought us a portable heater after we complained, though that didn’t work properly either. If you’re going for the pool, keep in mind it’s at the Castle, almost half a kilometre from Folwark. In November, coming back with wet hair could leave you cold, especially since neither of the two hair dryers worked.

We came here to ride horses, and it’s a very good base for that. They train young riders continuously, so the riding activities don’t stop. There are lots of rooms, and outside event periods or peak season it’s quiet, with plenty of space and the same very good service, rooms, and food. There’s more to do nearby, too. The castle has a pool and sauna, and you can rent bicycles. We also enjoyed the long walks through the woods and along the Kwisa.

The service was good, and the rooms were decent.

Everything else was great, but I can’t recommend the restaurant. The service was awful. We’d called well ahead, but nobody answered. The woman said they had lots of orders and weren’t picking up, even though the place was practically empty. Then, two minutes before the kitchen closed, they wouldn’t let us order. I’m honestly speechless. People shouldn’t treat other people like animals. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work with people like that.
