Salamandra 11 Apartamenty Góralskie

We spent a week here with our children and had a wonderful time. The apartments are beautifully made of wood, with a charming feel and stunning views of Giewont from the balcony. The welcome was warm, and the staff communicated really well. Having a large free parking lot was very convenient, and we received a voucher that we plan to use on our next visit. Highly recommend Salamandra 11 Apartament in Kościelisko!

I can’t recommend Apartment 7. The building was easy to enter at any time because the electric lock on the entrance door wasn’t working. The room also had almost no sound insulation, so we heard everything from neighboring rooms and the hallway. The seals between the logs were coming apart, leaving gaps where I could see people in the next room. I had to stuff paper towels into them so no one could spy on me. The price is comparable to a four-star hotel.

The parking was another problem: spaces are first come, first served, and anyone without one has to fend for themselves, even though private parking is included in the price. The code lock doesn’t work, so anyone can get into the building. There’s also just one electric stove per floor, which is a disaster if you want to cook. Inside, there were several-centimeter holes in the walls where the sealant between the logs had fallen out. We heard the people in the next room as if we shared an apartment, including their morning toilet routine. A paper towel stuffed in the gaps stopped anyone from peeking in, but that was all. I reported the issue to the customer service desk. The woman said she’d pass it on to the owners, but nobody got back to us or fixed it. When I asked to change rooms, she said, “But there’s no need.” I’ve never experienced anything like this. Stay away from this place. I don’t greet the owners. Olga

The room was cold, the windows leaked, and the shower water was only lukewarm. Heating only came on at certain times. We could hear everything through the wall, and there was dust behind the sofas. There was no on-site service. Although the room had a kitchenette, there was no stove in it. One was kept in the hallway, but someone would take it into a room, so it couldn’t be used in the shared area. There were no utensils for preparing food, and the room wasn’t set up for four people, so we had to put on the bedding ourselves. The rooms are new, and the sofa was comfortable.
