The owner is friendly, and his bar has a good range of beers and spirits. The apartment could work for a couple, or a couple with a child, for a night or two if you mainly need a place to sleep. The bathroom and kitchen are old, and since the bedroom opens to the living room through the ceiling, there isn’t enough privacy for two couples.

The phone conversation with the owner was awful. When things didn’t go his way, he hung up, and then rejected my calls when I tried to reach him again. Two days before arrival, I asked about cancelling the apartment I’d booked through Booking. He told my husband it could only be cancelled through Booking, but I had no option to do that. I left the reservation in place, but on arrival day the apartment was no longer available because the owner had cancelled it himself. He said he’d told my husband he would cancel for him, yet my Booking reservation still showed as confirmed. It wasn’t cancelled there until I spoke with a Booking consultant. The owner seems focused on money and showed no empathy for others.

Even with the low price, I’d strongly advise against staying here. Some room lights don’t work, there’s sand in the blankets, and the place isn’t clean. Three people can’t sleep comfortably: there’s one double bed, while the other option is a very narrow, dirty sofa bed covered in hair. Absolutely terrible 😠

The value for money was very good, so I’d recommend it for a short stay. It was clean, though not especially cozy, and might not suit travelers with higher expectations. For me, it was okay.
