Krakow is pricier than Warsaw, so hotels are too. For a few pln less, this is a decent, safe place, and I really appreciated being allowed to check in early if the room had been cleaned by the time I arrived. The room and bathroom were clean. There’s no AC, so in summer I’d open all the windows a few hours before bed, take a cold shower, and use just the duvet cover. The pillow was very big, thick, and uncomfortable, so I used the cushion instead. They don’t tidy the room during your stay unless, I guess, you ask. The bathroom and toilet are combined, and there’s no roof, so air from there gets ventilated into the room. That was okay for one person, but I’m not sure if the layout differs for more guests. It’s run by a husband and wife with their kids, who probably live in or near the same building. There’s no lift. Noise from cars whizzing past and people coming in late was manageable.

The room was spacious and nice, but I couldn’t get the huge TV to show anything, even with two controls, and the wine refrigerator was unplugged, so I’m not sure what it was for. Breakfast was okay, though the choice was limited compared with places like Ibis. The location is perfect if you’re visiting AGH tech university; otherwise it’s average, two long stops from the old town.

Breakfast was really good, too. The hotel is small, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is amazing, and for this price I couldn't ask for more.
