Apartamenty Amber

It was too hot in the apartment, and the big fan was so loud that I couldn't sleep with it on, even at its slowest setting. I messaged the WhatsApp number they use to ask for a smaller, quieter fan, but got no reply.

The apartments are on the small side, but they're cozy and work well. Amber Apartment is a really nice place, particularly because of its location.

The location is good.

The hygiene problems were serious enough that we had to leave during the night after finding bed bugs and being bitten. With nowhere else available at that hour, we spent the night at the airport. Before going home, we also had to wash our clothes, backpacks, and personal belongings at high temperatures in a laundromat to avoid bringing the problem back. That meant extra cost and a lot of hassle. We were eight people in two apartments, and neither had enough room for the advertised number of guests. One was listed with two bedrooms, but its supposed second bedroom was really the living room and kitchen, with no division and no suitable sleeping setup. The photos didn't show the true size or condition. The apartments were run down, with very dirty mattresses, stained towels, broken chairs, and an obvious lack of cleaning and upkeep. For eight people staying three days, we were given just two small rolls of toilet paper and told to buy more. The cost itself wasn't the point; basic supplies are part of what you'd expect from tourist accommodation. This was a very negative stay, and I'm sharing what happened so other travelers can make an informed choice.
