I paid 140 Euros for an apartment I never got to stay in. Two days before I was due to arrive, after I tried to rent it through Booking, they asked for a “damage deposit” of 300 PNL through a link. The Booking page said the deposit was “required on arrival,” and I was ready to pay in cash when I got there. They told me I couldn't live there if I didn't pay through the link. Nobody even tried to explain why they wanted the deposit early when the listing said I'd pay on arrival. Think twice before renting. Highly not recommended.
