The mattress was awful, with no fitted sheet or protector, and the curtains were so thin they might as well have been gauze. The furniture looked like the cheapest IKEA clearance stuff. The location and building itself are nice, but I wouldn't support this place again. Getting into the room took over an hour and a half, even though I was on the phone with the person in Warsaw. I first had to complete online forms before they would give me the door codes. The map and website make it sound like there's an office on site with limited hours for handing over keys. There isn't. The office is 1.8 km away, and the phone is answered in Warsaw. Once inside the complex, finding the unit became a scavenger hunt. There are more than a dozen buildings and hardly any signs. The website explains where to go, but there was no signal in the maze, even with local 5G. The buildings are up to 10 stories tall, and I had to cross the main road before I could get a signal. From the balconies and the families, children, and elderly people I saw, this seemed like a residential complex, and the unit may be one of the only short-term rentals. The owner's website says Marcin Dumania moved into property management after a corporate career that included Deloitte, and is now the country's largest vacation renter. It felt like this soulless bastard knew how to squeeze every bit of profit from the property.
