We asked by email ahead of time for a room at the back and not too high up, and that's exactly what we got. It was a lovely, traditional-feeling room for a city break, spotless, serviced daily, quiet, with a fridge and a good shower. The location made it easy to get to both the Jewish Quarter and Main Square. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was replenished well. I chose this hotel based on the reviews and agree with all the positive things people said. Absolutely fantastic, and I'd stay again if I return to Krakow.

We had a great four-night stay in Krakow. The hotel is near the Jewish Quarter and Wavel castle, and it's a short walk to the main square. Dining spots, bars, and cafes are close by, too. Staff were great and check-in was quick, the rooms comfortable, and breakfast was great. The street is busy, so ask for a room at the rear if you're sensitive to noise. Loved it.

Kazimiers is where you get the real soul of Krakow. Midowa is only 200 from the cultural center of Poland, and Stare Miasto is 700 away, but it's packed with tourists and shitty places. Staying here lets you enjoy the city like a Polish guy. Otherwise it's like a Roman going to the Coliseum just to watch fake battles. The hotel has great services.

You get excellent service here, even though this isn't a luxury hotel. Hotel Columbus is in Krakow's Jewish Quarter, a perfect base for enjoying the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a great selection. Highly recommended.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the location was great. The street noise was the problem: the tram stop is right outside and service runs 24/7. Every 15-20 minutes it sounded like a flyby, keeping us awake each night. Some trams were so loud the hotel shook.
